Dear Students and Parents,
I hope everyone had a fantastic, fun, and safe Thanksgiving Break! I again want to apologize for how long grading is taking me! My husband and I moved over the break and that major change for our family has impacted the amount of time I’ve had to sit and grade. Now that we’re mostly set up in our new place, I should be able to get a significant amount of work done this week. Thank you for your continued patience as I get organized again and caught up.

Dear Parents and Students,
Congratulations to our football team on making the state playoffs this Friday! Go LHS! It’s been exciting to see such a good season for all of our sports teams and everyone even this state team involves. Congratulations to the marching band for taking 3rd at Red Rocks. It was fun to see the cheer squad at the playoff game on Thursday last week. I also heard that ballroom did really well at their competition, and the Shakespeare team had a great time in Cedar City last month. The school musical is also going on right now, which is exciting as well! LHS has been a great place to be this fall! Dear Parents and Students,
First off, I would like to say how grateful I am for the discussions that we had in class last week. Students really dug into the topics we were discussing in class and came up with some very thoughtful and insightful answers. The Halloween topic was a really fun discussion. Most students didn’t agree with the article we read, and it was fun to hear them create arguments and defend them. Good work last week and I hope to continue that as we go on through the term! I finally have grades completely up to date as of this morning. Thank you for your continued patience as I’ve worked to get these big assignments graded and put into the computer. |
